Trenchless, explained
KNOW THE PIPE.
KNOW THE OPTIONS.
Every system is different. These answers explain how we approach sewer and drain rehabilitation and where inspection determines the final recommendation.
01What is trenchless sewer and drain pipeline rehabilitation?+
It is a group of repair methods that restore an existing sewer or drain pipe from the inside. Depending on pipe condition, we may clean, structurally line or complete a targeted point repair while keeping excavation and demolition to a minimum.
02What types of pipelines does LinerWorx rehabilitate?+
We work on residential and commercial sewer mains, building drains and small-diameter branch piping, including kitchen, laundry and restroom lines. Our work covers piping beneath slabs, inside buildings, through yards and across larger properties.
03What pipe materials can be lined?+
Many cast-iron, clay, ABS and PVC systems can be rehabilitated. The right solution depends on diameter, access, bends, connections and the actual condition of the host pipe.
04Does trenchless rehabilitation eliminate all digging?+
Not always. Many projects can be completed through existing cleanouts or limited access points, but a collapsed pipe, severe offset or missing access may require a small excavation. We identify those conditions during inspection and explain them before work begins.
05Is CIPP lining a structural repair?+
Yes. A properly selected and installed cured-in-place pipe liner creates a new structural pipe inside the existing route. It is different from a temporary patch or coating and is designed to restore the pipe’s integrity.
06How long does a liner last?+
A professionally installed structural liner is designed for long-term service. LinerWorx backs qualifying structural liner installations with a 25-year transferable warranty.
07Can you reopen branch connections after lining?+
Yes. When a liner covers branch or lateral connections, our camera-guided robotic cutting equipment can precisely reopen those connections from inside the rehabilitated pipeline when required.
08Why is pipe cleaning and descaling important before lining?+
The liner depends on the condition and profile of the prepared host pipe. Mechanical descaling, root removal and hydro jetting remove buildup and expose the true pipe condition so the rehabilitation system can be selected and installed correctly.
09Do you handle commercial and HOA projects?+
Yes. We serve commercial facilities, multifamily properties, HOAs, hospitality sites, plumbing contractors and residential customers. We plan work around access, occupancy, downtime and documentation requirements.
10How do I know whether my pipe can be rehabilitated?+
Start with a camera inspection and condition assessment. We locate defects, identify connections and evaluate access before recommending cleaning, point repair, full lining or excavation. If lining is not appropriate, we will say so.
11How quickly can a lined pipe return to service?+
Timing depends on pipe size, preparation and the lining system used. UV-cured liners can often return to service quickly because the curing process is controlled and recorded. Your project plan will explain the expected shutdown window.
12Do you provide before-and-after documentation?+
Yes. We use recorded camera inspections to document the existing condition, guide the work and verify the finished result before project handoff.
